Rapport with Children

Taking photos is not just about buying an SLR camera and taking happy snaps, it’s about engaging with people. At the start of every photo session we take a few minutes to have fun with the kids and explain to the parents, we’re not looking for fake smiles. We like to create laughter and take photos that capture these moments. We always mention to the father that a casual grin is ok. Near the end Ill ask if you have any photo ideas before heading to your home to view the pictures on your TV.

Before every photo session we engage with the kids first. For younger children we might make funny faces or sounds that create laughter or even a quick running race to get them active. For kids who are a little older we take a slightly different approach. It’s all about having fun and getting natural shots so I never resort to saying ‘cheese’.

Fun Outdoor Shoots

Photo sessions are taken at a park near your house or home garden. Outdoor photography allow the kids to feel relaxed in natural surroundings where the backgrounds are colourful and vibrant, creating amazing photos. Indoor shoots can be very formal, overwhelming for kids and very expensive with some packages starting from $2000.

Everyone that calls from this add will receive a free 10x8 coloured print of their favourite family photo. Prints start from $49 and canvas from $98. Our Print packages start from $245 (for 6 prints) and Canvas packages start from $295 (for 2 canvases). Layby options are available for up to 6 months.
